Why blog comment is more preferred then 3 way links

Problem with 3-way links-  People which have knowledge of SEO know that google and other major search engines now giving very less preference to 3 way links. Reason is that Companies which are handling SEO projects created websites only for link building purpose. These websites are full of links you can find links on each and every page of these sites and these site have copied contents. People uses Black hat SEO technique (like fake PR) for getting Page Rank on these site so that they can sell high Pr links. There is no pattern to add links on these sites, you can find anthemed links as well.

So if you are taking links on the page where BND(bad neighborhood ) links are present then that may harm ranking of your site in search engine. Even it is possible that your site may send in google Sandbox (Recovery of site from sandbox will take long time e.i. No specific time period is defined).
One other reason to avoid for 3-way links is that backing sites are created only for giving links as soon as their project get completed they remove all links from that site to maintain less OBL(Out bond links) on link pages. It is possible that your link removed even before page cache, it means that your site did not benefited by that link.
