Google Instant search

On 8th September 2010 Google officially launched Instant search. (It works when you are login to Google account)Google is an instant improvement that displays search results as you type. Google pushing the limits of our technology and infrastructure to help user get better search results faster. Googles key technical view was that the type of people slowly, but easy to read, usually taking 300 milliseconds between keystrokes, but only 30 milliseconds (one tenth of the time!) To look at another part of the page. This means you can scan a page of results as you type.

The most obvious change is that you get to these levels much quicker than before, because you do not have to finish the entire search term, or even the press "Search." Another change is that the results and writing helps you make a search for a better life through instant feedback. Now you can tailor your search on the fly until the results match exactly what you want. Over time, we can ask how the search never worked in any other way.

Benefits
Quick Searches: By predicting your search and display the results before the end of writing, Google snapshot can save 2.5 seconds per search.

Predictions smarter: Even if you do not know exactly what you're looking for, the predictions help guide your search. The above prediction is shown in gray text directly into the search box so you can stop writing as soon as you see what you need.

Immediate results: Start typing and the results appear before your eyes. Until now, you had to write an entire search term, hit enter and wait for the right results. Now the results appear instantly as you type, helping you see where you are going, every step of the road.

Do you Know:

1-Before Google instant, the browser typically had more than nine seconds to enter a search term, and we   have seen many examples of searches that took 30-90 seconds to type.

2-Using Google snapshot can save 5.2 seconds per search.

3-If everyone uses Google instantaneous worldwide, it is estimated that this will save over 3.5 billion seconds per day. That's 11 hours every second saved.

4-15 new technologies enhance the functionality of Google instantly.
